Movies. We all love them. I got some pretty interesting and diverse answers from our students upon asking two questions. Some movies in their answers dated back to childhood memories while other were recent box office hits.
Movies are made to attract certain emotions through their storyline. Some bring sadness while others make you angry at the past. Comedies make you laugh, while adventures make you wander into the unknown. Musicals can bring joy through songs while some make you wish your girlfriend liked action instead.
I asked my fellow pupils what's the last movie that stirred up some intense feelings in them, and this is what I got in return...

I asked my fellow pupils what's the last movie that stirred up some intense feelings in them, and this is what I got in return...
"Just know that Boyhood has no plot. Just a kid growing up for 12 years. It was basically life but it was really good."
"The movie Rudi was very inspirational and literally made my dad start crying."
"I cried when the dog died in Where the Red Fern Grows...but I was seven so...."
"Dumb and Dumber 2 was such a quality movie. Highly requested movie. I saw the first one 5 times. It's just great!"
"I don't like Bridge to Terabithia cause they killed the girl. It was too sad."
"Why so serious?"
"All the emotions that goes through your mid while watching Stuck in Love is crazy."
Most people love genres like action, comedy, chick flicks and anything involving a cute dog. Nothing is better than that favorite movie you can watch 25 million times and still laugh.
Next I asked them what their favorite movie is...
"I love that movie with the girl from Tangled ...A Walk to Remember."
"That's a really hard question but The Perks of Being a Wallflower."
"Right of the back I'd say Inception."
"Jack Sparrow is my role model which probably isn't good. #PiratesRule"
"I don't know...Cars...I don't know."
"Everything is awesome!! Everything is cool when your part of a team. - The Lego Movie"
"Well the last movie I watched was Unbroken and that was really good."
"I have come to the conclusion that Guardians of the Galaxy is number one. #ChrisPrattIsSoFine"
"It's a metaphor. See you put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing."
The Fault in Our Stars
Each movie above is different from the next. Whether they make you cry, send you back in time, or even make you wish you were BFFs with a Jack Sparrow, they are all unique. On that note, movies are an extended part of our imagination put on the big screen. Just for us. Which in the end is pretty cool.
